Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, the President-elect for the 2024-2029 term, responded to the verdict of the presidential election dispute at the Constitutional Court, which was announced on Monday, April 22.
“We are grateful that the process at the Constitutional Court has concluded,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo stated that it is now time for him to focus on preparing for the future of the Indonesian nation.
“It’s time to start making preparations for facing the future; I believe that’s essential,” he remarked.
Prabowo also expressed his gratitude to the supporters and those who worked hard to secure a win in the 2024 election contest.
“Thank you to all the people, thank you for your support, thanks to the Constitutional Court for carrying out a challenging task. That’s all from me. Thank you to everyone involved, all parties who have worked hard,” he concluded.
On Monday, the Constitutional Court rejected the dispute claims for the 2024 presidential election results filed by the ticket of Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar and the ticket of Ganjar Pranowo – Mahfud MD after delivering its considerations on the claims presented.
