Jakarta – Following his official declaration as the president-elect for 2024 by the KPU, Prabowo Subianto visited the Central Executive Board office of the Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) in Jakarta, on Wednesday (April 24).
During the meeting, Prabowo was welcomed by PKB’s Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar (Gus Imin). They discussed for about an hour, focusing on support and cooperation for the future development of Indonesia.
“The competition (in the presidential election) was tense, yet despite the intensity, we always maintained a smile. I consider the election contestation over; now we must look ahead and work for the people,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo also revealed that his meeting with Gus Imin that afternoon was about PKB’s continued desire to collaborate with Gerindra and Prabowo Subianto in serving the country for the benefit of the Indonesian people.
“We want to continue collaborating for the greater good and interests of the country. Indonesia has incredible potential,” Prabowo expressed.
He continued, stating that PKB’s desire to collaborate with him aims to address and improve existing shortcomings in Indonesia.
“Through our close cooperation, God willing, we will achieve our goals of eliminating poverty, hunger, and corruption from our nation, and bring about prosperity. Cooperation is key to facing a better future,” Prabowo said.
On the same occasion, Gus Imin expressed pride and honor at Prabowo’s visit to the PKB’s headquarters for discussion and to personally congratulate him on his appointment as the president-elect.
“Yesterday, we congratulated him via social media, through YouTube, and today, thankfully, PKB has the opportunity to directly congratulate Mr. Prabowo as the president-elect in the 2024 elections,” stated Gus Imin.
