London — Wrapping up his official visit to the United Kingdom, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto obliged requests from journalists covering his activities to capture moments together with photos in London.
The moment occurred after Prabowo completed several important agendas in London.
Prabowo reminded the journalists to quickly get into their vehicles due to the freezing outdoor temperature.
“Quickly, quickly, you must be freezing,” Prabowo joked with the journalists.
He then greeted each journalist covering his visit to London individually, shaking hands and exchanging warm gestures.
“Your hands are so cold,” Prabowo remarked, tapping the hand of one journalist.
Despite the temperature dipping to minus one degree Celsius, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the journalists who braved the cold to document key moments from Prabowo’s visit.
Prabowo’s London itinerary included meetings with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street, a luncheon hosted by Deputy PM Angela Rayner at Lancaster House, and attending the CEO Business Forum.
The journalists expressed their gratitude to Prabowo and wished him well for his next diplomatic missions.
“Thank you, Mr. President. Stay healthy, Mr. Prabowo,” said one of the journalists.
As noted, Prabowo will continue his international working visit after London, heading to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on November 23, 2024. (RR)
