Jakarta — After completing a two-week state visit, President Prabowo Subianto returned to Indonesia, arriving at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on Sunday (24/11).
Prabowo’s return was met with enthusiastic responses from Indonesian netizens. They flooded the comment section of his official Instagram account, @prabowo, with warm messages.
“For the first time, having a president return from an overseas trip feels so joyful, like seeing a parent coming home from a long journey. Stay healthy, Pak Prabowo,” wrote user @jeosepe_juventini.
A similar sentiment was shared by Abdul Kadir Karding, Minister of Migrant Worker Protection and Head of the Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI), on his account @abdulkadirkarding. He expressed gratitude for the success of Prabowo’s diplomatic efforts.
“Welcome back home, Mr. President. We are grateful and delighted because your diplomacy abroad was truly successful,” he wrote.
Other citizens expressed hope that Prabowo’s return would herald new initiatives akin to his previous actions. They accompanied their hopes with prayers.
“May you stay steadfast in your path and fulfill your duties as president with integrity. We, the humble citizens, will continue to pray for our leaders, amen,” said user @luq_man82.
In his post about returning home, Prabowo reflected on the fruitful outcomes of his international visits. He highlighted the strategic agreements and signed memorandums of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, securing investment commitments, and supporting national economic growth, sustainable infrastructure development, and job creation.
