Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto has called on volunteers and organizational leaders across Indonesia to unite and pool their efforts for the people through the newly launched National Solidarity Movement (GSN).
“There are so many volunteer organizations that have stood with us through the struggle. Since receiving this mandate from the people, we have yet to hold a formal gathering or reunion. So, this event serves as a reunion, bringing together our volunteers and organizational leaders,” Prabowo said in Jakarta on Saturday (November 2).
“On behalf of our shared struggle, we extend gratitude to all volunteers across Indonesia, to every social and political organization, and to every political party that has joined our coalition,” he added.
The National Campaign Team (TKN) formally concluded its activities after the Indonesian Electoral Commission (KPU) officially declared Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected president and vice president for the 2024-2029 term. However, Prabowo expressed his desire for the TKN to continue in a new form as the National Solidarity Movement, to keep advancing their shared mission.
“Our intention is that the TKN and its extensive network of organizations don’t simply disband, as our work is not yet complete. Our ongoing struggle is to move together toward the Indonesia we all envision—a nation where its people live well and prosper,” Prabowo explained.
During the declaration event, Prabowo encouraged all GSN members, who come from diverse backgrounds, to unite their strength in realizing Indonesia’s aspirations of becoming a respected nation.
“Let us gather all our strength to achieve our shared vision—an Indonesia that stands proudly, respected because its people are prosperous, respected because it provides justice to all its citizens,” Prabowo declared.
Prabowo also affirmed his commitment to establishing a corruption-free government during his leadership. He emphasized that no nation can progress without a clean government, calling on those who do not share this commitment to step aside.
“No country can succeed without a clean government. I am committed to leading a government that is free of corruption,” Prabowo asserted.
“To those who are with me, let’s go. For those who are unwilling, please step aside,” he added. (RR)
