Jakarta — The President-elect for 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto, gathered 45 attorneys from his legal team who defended the Prabowo-Gibran ticket in the Constitutional Court to express his gratitude on Tuesday (4/23) at his residence on Jl Kertanegara, Jakarta.

Prominent lawyers including Hotman Paris, Otto Hasibuan, and OC Kaligis attended the meeting. The Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka was also present, arriving at 6:49 PM local time.

“I called together the entire legal team to express my thanks. Mas Gibran was there, all our legal figures were present. I gathered the Prabowo-Gibran legal team, who have worked hard and successfully secured a decision from the Constitutional Court. I believe the process is now complete,” said Prabowo.

Following the conclusion of the proceedings at the Constitutional Court, Prabowo stated that he will focus on conducting political communications with all parties to build a strong and effective government coalition.

“After this, we will begin working to communicate politically with all parties, where we will strive to build a strong, effective coalition,” he explained.

Prabowo also emphasized that national unity must continue to be fostered following the presidential election contest.

“The competition is over, a decision has been made, and the people now expect and demand that everyone unites to work for the interests of the nation and its citizens. I believe that’s the essence of it,” Prabowo concluded.

Prabowo and Gibran are scheduled to appear at the General Elections Commission (KPU) on Wednesday at 10:00 AM local time for the official declaration of the presidential election winner.
