Bogor – A warm moment occurred when Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) implementation at a number of elementary schools in the Kedung Jaya area, Bogor, Monday (10/2).
As he travelled from one school to another, Prabowo was greeted by residents and students from neighbouring junior high schools. They scrambled to shake hands, sign autographs and give mementos to Prabowo.
An orange-coloured doll brought by Khansa, a student from SMPIT At Taufiq Bogor, was one of the items received by Prabowo.
Knowing that her gift reached the president, Khansa and her friends immediately screamed hysterically. They also admitted that they were happy to shake hands with Prabowo.
‘I’m happy, very happy, because I’ve been waiting for this,’ Khansa said, raising her thumbs up repeatedly.
‘Then we gave a doll, it was taken,’ Khansa added in a happy tone.
Khansa and her friends called Prabowo a kind-hearted figure. They also prayed for Prabowo’s success and health.
‘Good luck, long life, good health, good fortune,’ said Khansa and her friends. (RR)
