New Delhi – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived in New Delhi, India on Thursday (23/2) for a state visit. He arrived at Air Force Station Pala and was welcomed by a number of high-ranking state officials.
Prabowo arrived at around 22.22 local time or around 23.50 WIB. Upon landing, Prabowo greeted high-ranking officials along the red carpet. He was then greeted with a cultural performance of Indian dance.
On this occasion, high-ranking officials who welcomed Prabowo included State Minister of External Affairs Pabitra Margherita, Commanding Chief Palam Air Force Air Commodore Mehta, and Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty.
There were also Indonesian Ambassador to New Delhi Ina Hagniningtyas Krisnamurthi and Indonesian Ambassador to New Delhi Laksma Ardiansyah Muqsit.
After the welcome at the airport, Prabowo headed to the hotel where he was staying while in New Delhi. There he was greeted by dozens of residents who had been waiting since the afternoon. (RR)
