Karawang — President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto was met with enthusiasm by local workers during the inauguration of a major electric vehicle battery ecosystem project, a joint initiative between CATL and Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC), in Karawang, West Java.
Among those expressing their appreciation was Gagar Randhy, a Warehouse Supervisor in the PMC Department.
“I’m extremely happy—this is a major moment for us and our company,” said Randhy. “Having the chance to meet the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, and even shake his hand, was a truly unforgettable experience.”
Beyond his excitement, Randhy shared his pride in President Prabowo’s efforts to attract foreign investment, which he believes is playing a pivotal role in advancing economic development, particularly in regions like Karawang.
“I’m very proud of President Prabowo’s hard work and achievements, which have succeeded in drawing substantial foreign investment to Indonesia,” he added.
Randhy also noted that his company is planning to collaborate with the local Department of Manpower (Disnaker) to expand employment opportunities and support the country’s broader economic growth.
“We’re committed to working with the Manpower Office to create even more jobs,” he said.
