Jakarta — A recent survey conducted by Indikator Politik Indonesia revealed that 83.4 percent of Indonesians are confident that the administration of Prabowo Subianto, the president-elect for the 2024-2029 term, will lead Indonesia toward a better future than the current state.
The findings were released on Friday (October 4) by the Executive Director of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, during a YouTube broadcast of the survey results.
“The majority believe that Prabowo Subianto, the president-elect for 2024-2029, will be capable of leading Indonesia toward improvement,” Burhanuddin said.
The survey was conducted between September 22 and 29, 2024, with 1,200 respondents from across Indonesia. Additionally, supplemental samples were taken from 11 major provinces: North Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra, Lampung, Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and South Sulawesi, with 300 respondents from each area. West Sumatra was represented by 200 respondents.
The survey used multistage random sampling with a margin of error of approximately 2.3% and a confidence level of 95%.
