- Arrest of 28 Corrupt Officials
Authorities have detained 28 individuals linked to high-profile corruption cases, including the Ronald Tannur and Padang Toll cases, resulting in an estimated total state loss of Rp3.1 trillion. - Indonesia’s Application to Join BRICS
Indonesia has officially registered its interest in joining BRICS, the organization that represents emerging economies. Indonesia currently holds “interested country” status with an aim toward full membership. - Clean-Up Operation at the Ministry of Digital Communication (Komdigi)
Law enforcement has arrested 16 Komdigi employees and shut down 187,000 illegal gambling websites over the past 10 days. - Dismissal of Ministry of Agriculture Directors
