Jakarta – The Chairperson of the DPR RI, Puan Maharani, took the opportunity to congratulate Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the newly elected President and Vice President for the 2024-2029 period.
Puan conveyed her congratulations during her speech at the Annual Session of the MPR/DPR held at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Friday (16/8).
“Let us congratulate Mr. Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the President and Vice President-elect,” said Puan.
In addition to Puan, the Chairman of the MPR RI, Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet), also extended his congratulations to Prabowo-Gibran as the President and Vice President-elect during the opening of the Annual Session of the MPR RI.
“Congratulations to the President and Vice President-elect for the 2024-2029 period, Mr. General (Ret.) Haji Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka,” said Bamsoet.
“In addition to congratulating you on the mandate given by the people of Indonesia, we also hope for the continuation of national development,” continued Bamsoet.
Bamsoet also presented two poems: “From Kertanegara to the Palace, through unmatched struggle, may the vision and mission of Prabowo-Gibran be realized, for a golden Indonesia in 2045,” he said.
“Going to Solo to eat soto, returning to Senayan, congratulations to Mr. Prabowo Subianto on becoming the eighth President of Indonesia,” added Bamsoet.
