For Yati and her friends, it was an unforgettable surprise.
“I never expected the President to be here. Not at all,” she said, smiling. “It was such a joy. Mr. Prabowo seems like a warm and approachable leader—close to the people.”
Another diner, Feni, who came with her husband Teddy, echoed the sentiment.
“We didn’t expect to meet the President… it was such a happy moment for us, to see Mr. Prabowo in person,” they said.
For Eni, the cook behind the steaming bowls of bakmi, the honor was both exhilarating and humbling.
“We had to prepare the food on the spot, quickly! I was so happy the President came. He ate the food, and he liked it,” she said with a broad grin.
Eni also offered a prayer for the President’s success.

Joko and Sulis, the owners of the eatery, expressed deep gratitude for the unexpected visit.
