Jakarta — President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, departed for Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday evening via the Whoosh high-speed train, traveling together with members of the public from Halim Station in Jakarta.
The President arrived at the station around 7:45 p.m. local time. Dressed in a cream-colored outfit, including a matching jacket and a navy blue cap, Prabowo blended in with fellow passengers as he tapped his boarding card at the ticket gate before heading up the escalator to the platform.
His presence immediately sparked surprise and excitement among commuters. As he made his way to the platform, Prabowo waved to onlookers and engaged warmly with the crowd.

President Prabowo is scheduled to open the 2025 Indonesian Convention on Science, Technology, and Industry (KSTI), which will be held at the Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), from August 7 to 9.
He will deliver the keynote address at the convention, alongside Nobel Laureate Konstantin Novoselov and Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto.
With the theme “Economic Growth and Equity Through Mastery of Science and Technology,” KSTI 2025 is poised to become a major strategic forum on both the national and international stage.
