I am deeply concerned to hear about the assassination attempt during former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Acts of violence have no place in the democratic political process and should be condemned.

I extend our best wishes to former President Trump for a swift recovery, and our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
