Jakarta – President-elect and Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, called on political elites, leaders, and the public to work together, support each other, and provide constructive criticism for Indonesia’s progress. This message was delivered during his speech at the 3rd anniversary of the Labor Party on Thursday, September 19.
“My brothers and sisters, we will continue to collaborate, support, motivate, and correct one another. Indonesia is a rich country on the verge of takeoff, poised to become a developed nation. We must unite to manage and harness our national wealth responsibly, and we must be bold in eradicating corruption and mismanagement,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo emphasized his commitment to ensuring that the nation’s wealth is utilized for the benefit of all Indonesians, aiming for social and economic justice.
“After receiving the mandate from the people of Indonesia, and God willing, I will be inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia. Together with all elements of the Indonesian people, I am determined to safeguard, manage, and utilize the nation’s wealth so that it can be enjoyed by all Indonesians through economic and social justice. I believe that the fate of all Indonesians will improve,” Prabowo added.
He urged all elements of society to unite, avoid division, and face challenges together. According to Prabowo, unity is essential to overcoming global tensions and threats.
“The world is full of tension and uncertainty, with wars, oppression of the weak, and competition for hegemony and resources. It is more important than ever for us to unite and resist being divided or manipulated by certain forces. Let us unite, close ranks, and together we will achieve prosperity, eliminate poverty, and build a better Indonesia,” Prabowo concluded. (RR)
