Jakarta — President-elect Prabowo Subianto has issued a strong reminder to all political parties within and those planning to join the Koalisi Indonesia Maju (KIM) that any ministers appointed from their ranks should not exploit the national (APBN) or regional (APBD) budgets for personal gain.
Prabowo made this clear during his speech at the Forum Legislator PKB event held at Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta, on Thursday (October 10).
“I have told every party interested in joining my coalition—very directly—to all the party leaders and their representatives. I said, do not assign any of your ministers in the government I will lead to make money from the APBN or APBD,” Prabowo firmly stated.
He emphasized that in today’s modern era of technology, the actions of ministers and government officials are under constant public scrutiny, making it easier to detect unethical practices.
“This is the digital age, the era of technology. We live in a time where everything is quickly observed. So, don’t even think about it,” Prabowo warned.
His strong stance highlights the importance of transparency and integrity in the upcoming government, reflecting his commitment to good governance. (RR)
