Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed the arrival of Turkish President, the Honourable Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase, East Jakarta, Tuesday (11/2) evening.
The Turkish presidential plane arrived at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase Jakarta at 6:30 pm.
Erdogan’s arrival was greeted with a guard of honour and a red carpet.
‘Assalamualaikum, how are you?’ greeted Erdogan to Prabowo.
Prabowo then greeted Erdogan and also introduced a number of Turkish contingents in Indonesia to Erdogan.
Prabowo and Erdogan then also took the time to greet the Indonesian media crew by waving their hands simultaneously.
Furthermore, Prabowo invited Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan to enter the circuit car that had been provided.
The Turkish President was escorted by a total of 17 motorists from the Military Police to the hotel where he stayed during his working visit in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Erdogan’s visit to Indonesia is in the context of a state visit that will strengthen the good relations that have been established between Indonesia and Turkey. The two are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting on Wednesday, 12 February 2025 at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java. (RR)
