Bogor – The arrival of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his delegation on Wednesday (12/2) was warmly welcomed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, including residents inside and outside the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java.
Erdogan and his delegation arrived at the Palace at 11:30 am and were welcomed by Prabowo with warm greetings and handshakes.
Upon entering the Palace complex, Erdogan was also greeted by local residents with joy and enthusiasm. There were also horse troops and marching bands that accompanied the moment.
Previously, along the Bogor City highway to the Palace, Erdogan was also welcomed by hundreds of residents including elementary and junior high school students who happily shouted greetings to Erdogan by carrying Indonesian and Turkish flags. Erdogan was seen opening the window of his car to greet the residents.
The welcoming ceremony at the Palace began with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Turkish national anthem. Prabowo and Erdogan then checked the troops simultaneously through the light blue carpet.
The two figures then greeted a number of students wearing Indonesian traditional clothes. At that moment, Erdogan clapped his hands happily.
Then, Prabowo introduced the Indonesian delegates who participated in today’s meeting from the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet Ministers.
