Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan home from his working visit to Indonesia with a warm hug. Prabowo directly escorted Erdogan at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta, Wednesday (12/2).
Upon arrival at Halim, Erdogan hugged Prabowo for a few seconds as he got out of the car in front of the red carpet leading to the aircraft stairs. Prabowo returned the hug by patting Erdogan on the back.
After the hug, Prabowo and Erdogan walked towards the aircraft stairs.
Previously, Prabowo and Erdogan met at the Bogor Presidential Palace. The two held a high level meeting and witnessed the exchange of 13 cooperation MoUs.
This visit is also a historic momentum in order to strengthen the diplomatic relations that have been closely established for 75 years between Indonesia and Turkey so far. (RR)
