Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has announced that the Holiday Allowance (THR) for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), TNI-Polri, judges, and pensioners will be given no later than 17 March 2025.

‘I have signed Government Regulation Number 11 Year 2025 which regulates the policy of providing THR and 13th salary for state apparatus. The THR and 13th salary in 2025 will be given to all state apparatus at the centre and in the regions including civil servants, PPPK, TNI and Polri soldiers, judges and retirees with a total of 9.4 million recipients,’ Mr Prabowo said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/3).

Prabowo said the THR and 13th salary for ASN includes basic salary, inherent allowances and performance allowances. Meanwhile, the regional ASN is given the same as the central ASN and according to the ability of each regional government. As for pensioners, it is given in the amount of monthly pension.

‘THR is paid two weeks before Eid al-Fitr, disbursed starting 17 March 2025. The 13th salary will be paid at the beginning of the new school year in June 2025,’ Prabowo said.

Prabowo hopes that this policy can help people manage their needs during homecoming and during the Lebaran holiday.

He said the government realised that people’s mobility would be very high during this holiday. Therefore, the government has issued various policies to help the community, such as:

– Decrease in airline ticket prices. At least 13-14% during the two-week Eid holiday period.
– Discounted toll tariffs and transport during the Lebaran homecoming.
– Provision of THR for private employees, BUMN, BUMD and,
– Hari Raya bonus for online drivers and couriers. (RR)
