London — A heartfelt moment unfolded after President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended the CEO Roundtable Forum and was about to address the media at Lancaster House, London, on Thursday (21/11).
Noticing that Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati had stepped outside without wearing a warm coat amid the chilly weather, Prabowo quickly expressed his concern. Sri Mulyani was only dressed in a dark blue batik top, unlike other ministers who were wrapped in coats and scarves.
“You can’t tell I’m cold, but I really am,” said Sri Mulyani with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Prabowo urged Sri Mulyani to wear a coat and asked his staff to assist her immediately.
“Put on an overcoat, put on an overcoat. You’ll get cold,” Prabowo said to Sri Mulyani.
“Help her, help her,” Prabowo instructed his staff.
The CEO Roundtable Forum, attended by Prabowo and several ministers, served as a significant platform for the Indonesian government to demonstrate its commitment to promoting investment and economic growth. Discussions centered on strategic investment opportunities in Indonesia.
The forum also marked a strategic step in strengthening Indonesia-UK economic relations and fostering broader cooperation across various sectors. (RR)
