Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has warned that Indonesia’s future is bright, especially in the economic sector. Prabowo conveyed this when speaking at the Democratic Party Congress, Tuesday (25/2) in Jakarta.
‘Those who will enjoy it are you. Brothers and sisters, the young ones. Who sees Indonesia as dark?’ said Prabowo.
Prabowo said Indonesia’s bright future was predicted by Goldman Sachs, a global investment and finance company, which projected Indonesia as the fourth largest economy in the world.
Indonesia as the fourth largest economy in the world by 2050.
‘There is an economic and statistical prediction. Ladies and gentlemen, they say number one will be China overtaking America. Number two is America. Number three is India. This is Goldman Sachs,’ Prabowo said.
‘Indonesia is number four. [By 2050,’ he continued.
Prabowo also said that Indonesia would overtake other big countries, such as Germany, the UK, and Japan.
‘It’s cool that Indonesia is above Germany. Above Japan, above the UK, above France. How come Indonesia is dark?’ Prabowo said, accompanied by applause from the audience. (RR)
