Cairo — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed his determination to provide free nutritious meals for children across Indonesia. Speaking to Indonesian students at Al Azhar University in Cairo on Wednesday (December 18), Prabowo emphasized his unwavering commitment to this mission.
“I want to implement a program to provide nutritious meals for all Indonesian children. Many disagree with me, including professors and intellectuals. But I am resolute—we will fight as hard as we can to eradicate poverty from Indonesia,” Prabowo declared.
In addition to addressing poverty, Prabowo also highlighted his administration’s efforts to strengthen law enforcement against corruption, noting significant progress in just two months of leadership.
“Count the number of corrupt individuals we’ve already arrested. This is just the beginning. Wait another six months,” he asserted.
Prabowo expressed confidence in his role and stressed his unwavering loyalty to the people of Indonesia.
“If the people have elected you, and you’ve been sworn in before the Almighty, there is no room for doubt. We must remain loyal to the people and to God,” Prabowo stated firmly.
