Prabowo Subianto Receives Warm Honor Guard Welcome upon Arrival in Peru

Lima, Peru — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Fuerza Aérea del Perú Airport to a grand welcome complete with an honor guard ceremony on Wednesday evening, November 13, at 10:00 p.m. local time (10:00 a.m. Jakarta time). Prabowo’s visit to Peru marks the continuation of his international working tour, following stops in China and the United States.

As Prabowo descended from the plane, he was greeted on a red carpet by high-ranking Peruvian officials, including Minister of Agriculture Angel Manuel Campos, Major General Julia Cecar Guteres, Commander of Air Base No. 2, and Deputy Minister Sandra Pinto La Fuente.

Prabowo extended a warm smile and greeted each official with a handshake. He also took a moment to salute the honor guard troops lined up to welcome him.

Prabowo is in Lima to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2024, an international economic forum that promotes cooperation among nations in the Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia.
