Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto attended a meeting with the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) delegation at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (3/12). The meeting included representatives from various sectors within the US-ASEAN business community.
Prabowo expressed satisfaction with the performance of his administration during the first 44 days in office, despite being away on overseas official duties for 16 of those days.
“I want to say that I am very pleased with my administration’s performance over these 44 days. Most of the targets we set are underway, and many commitments have already been fulfilled. I must say I am deeply grateful to my team,” he said.
“I was surprised when I returned, and my ministers reported their achievements. I think they are working very quickly,” Prabowo added.
The meeting, which featured representatives from diverse business sectors, aimed to strengthen economic ties between Indonesia, ASEAN member states, and the United States.
“Thank you for attending this morning’s meeting. I believe most of my programs have been explained. Publicly, I have also met with Ambassador Osius in Washington, D.C., and many members of the US-ASEAN Business Council,” Prabowo remarked.
Notable attendees included Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/ BKPM Rosan Roeslani, KADIN representative Hashim Djojohadikusumo, US-ABC President and CEO Ted Osius, and US Ambassador to Indonesia Kamal Shirin Lakhdhir.
