Semarang – President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, inaugurated the Madukoro Flyover located on Jalan Madukoro Raya, West Semarang District, Semarang City, Central Java, on Wednesday morning (11/12).
Prabowo expressed hope that the infrastructure would benefit all citizens and thereby drive economic development.
“Infrastructure is crucial for enhancing connectivity, smoothing traffic flow, and thus accelerating economic development,” said Prabowo.
The inauguration was marked by the sounding of a siren led by Prabowo, followed by the signing of a plaque.
Prabowo also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the public works department and the construction team responsible for building the flyover, particularly to the people who supported the development of this infrastructure.
“Thank you to all parties involved. We must remember that this infrastructure was built by the people, funded by the people’s money, and must be used for the greatest benefit of the people,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo also reminded the Minister of Public Works (PU) to maintain the quality of construction, ensuring it is efficient and adheres to specifications.
“Thank you for the excellent planning. Ensure that everything built meets the specifications, maintains efficiency and quality. Deliver the best so that the nation’s and state’s capabilities can be felt by the people,” Prabowo added.
Accompanying Prabowo during the inauguration and plaque signing of the Madukoro Flyover were Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, and Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana. (RR)
