Jakarta – President-elect Prabowo Subianto (2024-2029) has called on all parties to work together in addressing the challenges faced by the people and to provide swift solutions to their needs.

“Our people are tired of empty talk; they want results, they want problems to be solved,” Prabowo stated during the Closing of the 6th Congress of the National Mandate Party (PAN) in Jakarta on Saturday, August 24.

Upon receiving his mandate, Prabowo emphasized that his primary focus would be on working for the people. He stressed that what the public needs most is the resolution of their problems.

“Hungry children must be fed immediately. We cannot wait for research results, seminars, or studies. Those struggling to find jobs need solutions as quickly as possible,” Prabowo explained.

“We will work together to eradicate poverty and corruption from the soil of Indonesia. We will safeguard every rupiah. The people’s money must reach the people—that is our commitment,” he asserted.

Prabowo also highlighted several actions he has already taken to address the immediate needs of the people.

“As Defense Minister, I have mobilized all available resources. Where the people lack water, we provide water. It’s not about sitting in an air-conditioned room talking on podcasts; it’s about action,” Prabowo concluded.

In front of PAN members, Prabowo also expressed his gratitude to several parties who supported him in winning the 2024 Presidential Election. In addition to thanking Zulkifli Hasan’s party, Prabowo also extended his appreciation to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

“I also want to thank Mr. Jokowi, who has supported me continuously up to this very moment, ensuring that the transition of power and mandate will proceed smoothly, God willing,” Prabowo said. (RR)
