Jakarta — President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto expressed appreciation for the achievements of his Cabinet Merah Putih team. He noted that the ministers have demonstrated teamwork and solidarity in just over a month of operation.
Prabowo made this statement while leading the Cabinet Plenary Session at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday afternoon (2/12).
“I thank all of you for continuing to work as a team while I was abroad,” said Prabowo.
“Thank you to the vice president, the coordinating ministers, ministers, and agency heads—thank you, everyone,” he continued.
Prabowo highlighted that his cabinet has already shown strong collaboration in fulfilling its responsibilities.
“If I may use a football analogy, it’s evident that we’re working well together as a team,” he remarked.
Prabowo emphasized that within just one month, the public has already benefited from key policies, such as debt relief for small-scale entrepreneurs, farmers, and fishers in the MSME sector.
“I think this has been well-received, allowing them to feel more motivated and active again,” he explained.
In addition, the national minimum wage has been increased by 6.5%, and airfares have been reduced by 10% ahead of the year-end holidays.
Prabowo assured that his administration remains committed to prioritizing the people and national interests.
“We are determined to continually improve policies and systems that need refinement,” Prabowo concluded. (RR)
