Bogor – Guardians of students at PAUD SPS Nalika Abdi Alit, an inclusive school that includes children with special needs in Cimanggu, Bogor, enthusiastically and emotionally welcomed the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration’s free nutritious meal programme that officially started today, Monday (6/1).

Sulistiawati Wijaya, a guardian of a student with disabilities, said that the programme really helped her as a parent so that her children could eat well and have adequate nutrition.

‘Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful that this programme is very helpful, hopefully it will continue in the future. Our children’s nutrition is more fulfilled and fulfilled. Children also eat regularly, who were previously difficult to eat, because at school with their friends they are carried away to eat,’ said Sulistiawati.

The same thing was expressed by another student guardian, Santi Nurhayati, who admitted that she was also enthusiastic because she had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

‘We have been waiting for this moment, because it eases the burden on parents and children can eat according to portions and have enough nutrition,’ she said.

Similarly, Kartini Nasution, another student guardian, admitted that the first day of the programme made a positive impression in the future.

‘Our children are often picky when eating. But, through this programme and taking place at school, any nutritious menu is eaten,’ she said.

They also thanked Prabowo for launching the programme and prayed for its smooth running.

‘Thank you to Mr President Prabowo, I represent all parents. May your programme plan run smoothly, be successful for all of us, including for other programmes. You are also in good condition, all healthy, we appreciate this programme,’ said Santi.

For information, the Free Nutritious Meal Programme launched by Prabowo has started running in 26 provinces in Indonesia from Aceh, Bali, West Sumatra, North Sumatra, Riau Islands, Riau, Lampung, Banten, West Java, D.K.I. Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, D.I. Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Maluku, North Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, to West Papua and South Papua.
