Selangor – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Subang Air Base in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, Monday (27/1) to continue his overseas working visit in Kuala Lumpur after travelling from New Delhi, India.
Prabowo arrived at around 6am local time and was greeted by a number of Malaysian high-ranking officials and a guard of honour. He wore a dark blue suit and black cap.
The row of Malaysian officials who welcomed Prabowo at the airport included Yang Berhormat Tuan Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad, Minister of Natural Resources and Nature Conservation; Dato’ Yubazlan bin Haji Yusof, Chief of Protocol Malaysia; and Datuk Rozainor Ramli, Chief of Ceremony Malaysia.
Also present were Dato’ Syed Mohammad Hasrin Tengku Hussin, Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia; Rossy Verona, Deputy Chief Representative of Indonesia to Malaysia; and Brigadier General Winarno, Defence Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Prabowo travelled to Malaysia to attend the official invitation of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Raja Malaysia at the Malaysian State Palace.
Prabowo is also scheduled to have a meeting with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. (RR)
