Kuala Lumpur – There was a funny moment when President Prabowo Subianto met Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (27/1).
During that moment, Prabowo was given a helmet by Anwar Ibrahim. The helmet was known to be a helmet from the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team.
During the handover of the gift, there was an F1 car decoration displayed in the room. Prabowo spontaneously pointed to it.
The officer who gave the gift spontaneously replied. “I can’t use the car, sir. Sorry sir,” he laughed.
Prabowo, Anwar Ibrahim and the audience in the room laughed.
The meeting between the two figures was warm. Anwar Ibrahim said Prabowo was his best friend during his time in politics in Malaysia.
Because of this close relationship, Anwar Ibrahim said he would increase Malaysia’s trade with Indonesia more than any other country in the world.
“The things we can get from Indonesia must be prioritised over buying from other countries,” said Anwar Ibrahim. (RR)
