In his remarks, President Prabowo expressed his pride for this great achievement. The Head of State also appreciated the hard work and cooperation of all parties who have realised this project.
‘Perhaps it needs to be verified that this is the largest energy project in the world, perhaps we are inaugurating 3.2 gigawatts at once. Of course, this is the result of the work of the entire Indonesian nation, the hard work of the nation’s children from all agencies, all institutions and institutions,’ President Prabowo said.
In addition to the power plant, the project also includes the construction of a 739.71-kilometre transmission network (kms) and a substation with a capacity of 1,740 megavolt amperes (MVA). The President emphasised that this infrastructure is an important foundation to support economic transformation towards an industrialised country.
‘We want to become a modern country, a developed country, we want to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people, we want to eliminate poverty from the earth of Indonesia. For that, energy is very vital, we have enough natural resources and we now have the ability to make this transformation,’ said the President.

According to him, the projects became much smoother and became one of the achievements in the 100-day programme of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration.
