The short-term policy strategy will focus on accelerating economic growth, strengthening welfare, and equalizing development across regions.

Firstly, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program is aimed at improving children’s nutrition while empowering MSMEs and boosting the economy in local communities.

The Free Nutritious Meals program will be implemented in phases, aligned with technical and institutional readiness, and accountable governance.

Secondly, an accelerated renovation program for schools will enhance access, quality, and the relevance of education to the business world, including the construction of flagship schools.

A conducive educational ecosystem will also be developed.

Thirdly, to boost productivity, ensure supply, and affordability of food, strengthening of food granaries and irrigation networks is required.

Fourthly, to enhance community economies, there needs to be increased financing for affordable housing for the people.

Fifthly, increased capitalization for MSMEs.

The medium-term strategy is directed towards accelerating economic transformation towards inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

First, achieving superior human resources that are productive, innovative, and competitive through quality education, free nutritious meals, and school renovations, as well as quality healthcare and social protection.

Second, strengthening downstream processing and green transformation to increase high-value-added economic activities that are low-emission and export-oriented.

Third, increasing inclusivity and equity to achieve widespread welfare for all layers of society across Indonesia.

Fourth, continuing the development of infrastructure as a support for economic transformation, especially in the areas of education, food, energy, and connectivity.

Fifth, strengthening the implementation of bureaucratic reform and simplification of regulations.

Sixth, enhancing the creative economy and entrepreneurship through empowerment and increased access to capital for MSMEs.

Seventh, strengthening Defense and Security as well as self-reliance in food and energy.

Eighth, reinforcing Nationalism, Democracy, as well as respect and enforcement of Human Rights.
