Jakarta – The government under President Prabowo Subianto will soon disburse funds for the Indonesian National Football Team and PSSI programs. The allocated amount of IDR 277 billion is scheduled to be released starting January 2025.
This was revealed by the Chairman of PSSI and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, through his Instagram account @erickthohir on Friday (13/12).
“Thank you to President General (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto for allocating IDR 277 billion for the Indonesian National Team and PSSI programs, which are planned to be disbursed in January 2025,” Erick wrote.
Erick described the funding as a testament to Prabowo’s commitment to advancing Indonesian football, calling it truly extraordinary.
“With God’s blessing and full support from the President and the Indonesian Government, let’s bring Garuda to the world stage 🇮🇩,” Erick added.
Erick’s post garnered positive reactions from netizens, flooding the comment section with praise for Prabowo’s initiative. Comments ranged from prayers for the National Team’s success to expressions of willingness to pay taxes to support the team.
