Jakarta — Eight of the finest young officers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) stood proudly before President Prabowo Subianto during the 2025 TNI–Polri Officer Commissioning Ceremony (Prasetya Perwira) held at the State Palace, Wednesday (July 23).
These young men were honored as Adhi Makayasa recipients—the highest distinction awarded to the top graduates of each military and police academy.
The ceremony marked a historic moment, celebrating the commissioning and official oath-taking of these cadets as newly minted officers. After years of rigorous education, discipline, and character-building, these eight exceptional young men now bear the rank and responsibility as Indonesia’s next generation of leaders in defense and security.
This year’s Adhi Makayasa recipients were selected based on Presidential Decrees No. 56/TNI/2025 and No. 57/Polri/2025, and include:
Alim Bimo Pratowo, B.App.Sc. in Defense Studies – Military Academy, Muhammad Afrijal Mughlis – Military Academy, Menanda Putra Duta, B.App.Sc. in Defense Studies – Naval Academy, Arya Handaru – Naval Academy, Epan Basit Reswara, B.App.Sc. in Defense Studies – Air Force Academy, Aksel Pahreja Aditama – Air Force Academy, Muhammad Malik Aditya Kurniawan, B.App.Sc. in Police Studies – Police Academy, and Pathan Putra Rifito – Police Academy.
President Prabowo not only presided over the ceremony but also witnessed the emergence of a new generation of officers expected to uphold Indonesia’s sovereignty and national honor.
In his address, President Prabowo reminded the young officers of the solemnity of the oath they had just taken.
“Please take to heart the words you have spoken today. In front of the Indonesian people and before Almighty God, you have declared your willingness to offer your soul and body for this nation,” he said.
“The sovereignty of the nation, the honor of the nation, and the safety of the people now rest on your shoulders. The people await your dedication, your service, and—if necessary—your ultimate sacrifice,” he concluded.
