Jakarta – The President-elect for the 2024-2029 term, Prabowo Subianto, joyfully welcomed the arrival of the acting Chairman of the PPP, Muhamad Mardiono, who expressed a desire to join the Indonesia Maju Coalition (IMC).
“I welcomed Mr. Mardiono, an old friend, who conveyed PPP’s decision to join our coalition,” Prabowo said at Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Thursday (15/8).
On this occasion, Prabowo expressed his happiness as Mardiono brought PPP to support his upcoming government, officially starting on October 20th.
“I am pleased and grateful, and I express my joy on behalf of our coalition friends,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo emphasized the spirit of collaboration, cooperation, and unity among all elements in Indonesia. He wishes for all stakeholders, including community and political leaders, to unite and work together for the benefit of the nation and its people.
“We believe this cooperation is greatly beneficial, and it’s already evident as we have synergized in many regions,” Prabowo commented.
Meanwhile, Mardiono stated that PPP is committed to supporting the government of the elected president, Prabowo, to implement all work programs for the people’s livelihood and to accelerate their welfare.
“In the elections, PPP was in a different place, but since that’s resolved and a decision has been made, PPP has no other reason but to support the elected president, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” Mardiono revealed.
“Therefore, PPP is committed to supporting the government under the new president, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” he added.
