Jakarta – A joyful atmosphere filled with laughter marked the family gathering of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/4/2024).
During the event, Prabowo, accompanied by his son Didit Hediprasetyo, was seen having a warm conversation with Jan Ethes, Gibran’s son. They discussed plans for horseback riding.
“When shall we go horseback riding?” Prabowo asked as he shook hands with Jan Ethes.
“Do you want to ride a horse?” Didit chimed in next to Prabowo.
“I have prepared the horses, would you like the white or the golden one?” Prabowo asked again.
“The golden one,” Jan Ethes replied.
“Oh, we have that, we have that,” Prabowo responded, eliciting laughter from Gibran and his wife Selvi Ananda.
Gibran and his family’s visit was part of the Eid al-Fitr 2024 celebrations. Prabowo expressed his gratitude for the visit, while Gibran acknowledged Prabowo as his leader and mentor, deeming it obligatory to visit Prabowo’s residence.
“Matur Suwun (thank you),” said Prabowo to Gibran.
“Yes, sir, after all, you are my leader,” Gibran replied, continuing to shake hands.
