Bogor — Sugiono, newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his profound appreciation to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who held the position for 17 years.
“On behalf of the Gerindra Party, I extend our deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to Mr. H. Ahmad Muzani, Secretary-General of Gerindra from 2008 to 2025,” said Sugiono at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Friday (August 1).
Sugiono praised Muzani’s significant contributions to the party and commended him for playing a central role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency.
“With full dedication and unwavering responsibility—both morally and practically—he helped establish, preserve, and grow the Gerindra Party, and ultimately led Mr. Prabowo Subianto to become President of the Republic of Indonesia,” he stated.
Sugiono also expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Gerindra’s Executive Chairman, for his instrumental role in building the party from its early days to its current stature.
He then thanked all party cadres for their ongoing support and emphasized the importance of maintaining unity and internal solidarity.
“This is the time for us to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and the solidarity of our cadres as we work together to safeguard the programs of the government led by our President, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” Sugiono declared.
“Let us support, secure, and ensure the success of his leadership in building a just and prosperous Indonesia and a society grounded in well-being,” he added.
Under the newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period, Prabowo Subianto continues to serve as Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, with Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
