Bogor – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has officially inaugurated the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Campus at the Defence University (Unhan), a new institution designed to educate and prepare the country’s future leaders.

In his speech, Prabowo expressed deep appreciation to the founder of the Defence University, Indonesia’s 6th President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), who was present at the event.

“I would like to extend my greatest appreciation to the founder of this university, our 6th President, Pak SBY, whose vision was truly ahead of its time,” Prabowo stated during the ceremony at Unhan, Sentul, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (June 11).

Both Prabowo and SBY share a common vision for education, deeply considering the future of Indonesia’s next generation. The establishment of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Campus within the Defence University serves as a commitment to nurturing the nation’s top cadres.

“One of his key initiatives as president was ensuring the preparation of Indonesia’s future leaders. Therefore, we are truly grateful that this inauguration is attended by the very person who pioneered and established this institution. Thank you, Pak SBY, for your presence,” he continued.

In a heartfelt moment, SBY, seated in the audience, smiled and gave a respectful salute toward Prabowo, followed by applause from distinguished guests.
