Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto saluted all judges in Indonesia who attended the Special Session of the Supreme Court’s Annual Report 2024 at the Supreme Court Building, Wednesday (19/2).
“I am a former soldier, I have a tradition that I want to salute all judges throughout Indonesia,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo realizes that the burden and responsibility of judges is very heavy, therefore he respects and fully supports the performance of judges who are the pillars of hope for the people.
“Your burden is very heavy, because every one of our people depends on your decisions. Our people hope for justice, especially our poorest, most helpless people, the last place they look for justice is to the judges,” he continued.
Furthermore, Prabowo is determined to work with the Legislature to provide a decent living welfare for all judges in Indonesia.
“Therefore, I am determined to work with the legislature. We must improve the quality of life of all judges. Sorry, I have said several times that the quality of life of our judges must be the best,” he concluded. (RR)
