Bogor – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, on Saturday (11/1), where Ishiba expressed his country’s interest in supporting the Indonesian government’s priority programmes.
Initially, Prabowo said the visit was a symbol of the two countries’ commitment to strengthen and strengthen relations between the two countries in all fields.
‘As Your Excellency may have learnt, the government that I lead has important priorities,’ Prabowo said.
First, Prabowo explained, is food self-sufficiency, then energy self-sufficiency, downstream and industrialisation, free nutritious meals, and defence.
Ishiba then welcomed Prabowo’s marketing by expressing Japan’s interest in these programmes.
‘I would like to contribute and cooperate with Indonesia on the things that have been mentioned by His Excellency the President,’ Ishiba said.
‘Self-sufficiency in food and energy natural resources and downstream and industrialisation and nutritious food for the people, and security. I feel that Japan and Indonesia have a lot in common,’ he continued. (RR)
