Karawang — President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, greeted Karawang residents warmly after inspecting the saline tilapia aquaculture at the Balai Layanan Usaha Produksi Perikanan Budidaya Karawang (BLUPPB) in Karawang, West Java, on Monday (2/12).
Hundreds of Karawang residents cheered, calling out Prabowo’s name, hoping to shake hands and exchange greetings.
“Mr. President, President!” exclaimed the crowd enthusiastically.
Prabowo approached the residents, shaking hands with each of them. Many scrambled for the opportunity to take a photo with him.
During the interaction, Prabowo paused upon noticing a young boy dressed in a TNI (Indonesian Armed Forces) uniform perched on his father’s shoulders, eagerly waiting to meet him.
The boy was lifted and embraced by Prabowo, much to the delight of his parents. The boy’s father expressed his gratitude with a beaming smile.
“Thank you, Sir!” said the boy’s father.
Prabowo concluded the meeting by bidding farewell to the Karawang residents before heading back to Jakarta. (RR)
