Bogor — Hundreds of residents enthusiastically greeted President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto as he cast his vote for the 2024 regional elections (Pilkada) in Bojong Koneng, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (27/11).
Prabowo mingled with the residents after voting, engaging in casual conversations and taking photos with them.
“What’s your name?” Prabowo asked one resident holding her child.
“Ichsan, Sir,” the mother replied.
“This is the President, greet him,” the mother said to her child.
Prabowo was then surrounded by several mothers with their children. He shook hands, kissed, and carried the children while chatting briefly.
“Your glasses are cute,” Prabowo remarked to one child he approached.
“Fashion glasses, Sir,” the child’s mother responded.
During the interaction, Prabowo also asked the residents if they had cast their votes yet for the 2024 Pilkada.
“Have you voted yet?” Prabowo asked.
“Not yet, Sir,” the residents replied in unison as they waited in line for their turn at the polling station.
“Take care, everyone!” Prabowo said as he bade farewell.
Prabowo then boarded a white Maung Garuda vehicle bearing the license plate RI 1 to return to his residence at the Garuda Yaksa Padepokan in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java. (RR)
