Brazil — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended the Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum during the G20 Summit, emphasizing Indonesia’s dedication to fostering a positive business climate to sustain economic growth.
Prabowo’s presence was eagerly anticipated by business leaders from Indonesia, Brazil, and other countries. Upon his arrival at the forum, Prabowo greeted each business leader individually before engaging in discussions.
“We value investment. We are dedicated to creating a positive business environment,” Prabowo stated at the Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro, on Monday (11/17).
In his address, Prabowo also highlighted several key issues, including the importance of food security and addressing poverty and hunger.
He expressed Indonesia’s intent to learn from Brazil’s successful Free Nutritious Meal Program.
“We want to form a team to study Brazil’s program for schoolchildren,” he remarked.
Accompanying Prabowo at the event were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Indonesian Ambassador to Brazil Edi Yusup. (RR)
