Lima, Peru – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, was honored with the prestigious Grand Collar of the Order of the Sun of Peru by President Dina Boluarte during his official visit to Peru’s Presidential Palace, Palacio de Gobierno, on Thursday, November 14.
Arriving punctually at 2:00 p.m. local time, Prabowo was welcomed with a formal guard of honor and a red-carpet reception. The award ceremony followed shortly after.
The Grand Collar of the Order of the Sun of Peru, the highest civilian honor in Peru, is bestowed for exceptional civil and military contributions. Established in 1821, it is the oldest civilian award in the Americas.
