Jakarta — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reiterated his commitment to leading a clean government, emphasizing that no country can progress if its administration is plagued by corruption.
“No nation can succeed without a clean government. Therefore, I am committed to leading a corruption-free government in the Republic of Indonesia,” Prabowo declared at the National Solidarity Movement (GSN) declaration at Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday (November 2).
In a firm message, Prabowo called on those unwilling to join his mission for clean governance to step aside. “Those who want to work together, let’s go! Those who don’t, step aside!” he stated emphatically.
He also urged everyone to work towards realizing the dreams of Indonesia’s founding leaders, aiming for prosperity and well-being for all Indonesian people.
“Let’s fulfill the aspirations of our nation’s founders—Bung Karno, Bung Hatta, Bung Syahrir, Sudirman, and all our pioneers. An Indonesia where its people live in prosperity,” he said.
Prabowo further encouraged the GSN to focus on practical actions to support those in need. “I urge the GSN to be real—whatever you can do, do it! Let’s limit events like this to maybe once every five years. Now, let’s focus on finding resources and ways to assist the people who need it most,” he added. (RR)
