Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the presence of 19 world leaders and 15 special envoys who attended his inauguration alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the MPR/DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday (October 20).
Prabowo emphasized that the presence of these international dignitaries is a testament to the respect and recognition they hold for Indonesia and its people.
“Today, we are greatly honored by the attendance of 19 heads of state and 15 special envoys from friendly nations. On behalf of the entire Indonesian nation and people, I extend my highest gratitude to all the heads of government, heads of state, and representatives of friendly nations present here,” Prabowo stated as he opened his inaugural address.
He proceeded to individually acknowledge the distinguished guests from various countries, emphasizing the importance of their presence at this significant moment for Indonesia’s constitutional sovereignty.
“I, on behalf of the people of Indonesia, sincerely thank you for honoring us by coming from far distances despite your very busy schedules, to grace us with your presence on this important day,” Prabowo added.
In his speech, Prabowo also reaffirmed his commitment to uphold the 1945 Constitution and implement all laws and regulations with dedication to the country and its people.
“I, Prabowo Subianto, and Gibran Rakabuming Raka swear to uphold this mandate with the utmost integrity, with all the strength in our soul and body,” Prabowo declared.
To note the total names of the heads of state and envoys present and mentioned one by one by Prabowo, namely, Malaysian Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim, Papua New Guinea PM James Marape, Serbian PM Milos Vucevic, Singapore PM Lawrence Wong, Solomon PM Jeremiah Manele, Timor Leste PM Xanana Gusmao, Vanuato PM Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Han Zheng, Vice President of Laos Pany Yathotou, Vice President of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan, First Deputy PM of Russia Denis Manturov, Deputy PM of Qatar Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, Deputy PM of Australia Richard Marles, Deputy PM of New Zealand Winston Peters, Deputy PM of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul.
