Jakarta — President-elect and Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, welcomed the arrival of the Majelis Syuro of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), led by Dr. Salim Segaf Aljufri, along with party officials at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara No. 4, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (October 11).

Prabowo greeted the PKS delegation at 4:45 PM WIB right at the entrance of his home, wearing a white shirt and black trousers. He shook hands with Salim Segaf Aljufri and the other PKS leaders.

“Old friends meet again,” Prabowo said with a smile to the reporters, waving to them as he welcomed his guests.

“Alhamdulillah,” responded Salim Segaf Aljufri, Chairman of the Majelis Syuro of PKS.

Prabowo, alongside the Gerindra and PKS delegations, then entered his residence to hold a closed-door meeting. Accompanying Prabowo were Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the Daily Chairman of the Gerindra Party, along with Prasetyo Hadi, Vice Chairman Sugiono, and Gerindra spokesperson Budi Djiwandono.

From PKS, the meeting was attended by Secretary-General Habib Aboe Bakar Al-Habsyi and DPP Chairman Jazuli Juwaini. (RR)
