Serbia — Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and President-elect for the 2024-2029 term, Prabowo Subianto, visited Serbia to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday, July 29th.
The meeting between Prabowo and Vucic aimed to reinforce political dialogue and promote economic and comprehensive cooperation, benefiting both nations.
This was conveyed by Vucic through his official Instagram account, @buducnostsrbijeav, where he also posted five photos from his meeting with Prabowo.
The photos captured the friendly moments of Prabowo and Vucic engaging in a relaxed conversation. Vucic expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation with Indonesia.
“With the President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister of Defense, @Prabowo, I discussed ways to further develop our traditional friendship and strengthen overall cooperation between Serbia and Indonesia. This visit provides significant impetus to further enhance the close relations and cooperation between our countries,” Vucic wrote.
On the same occasion, Vucic also extended his special thanks to Indonesia for its support and assistance, as reflected in the United Nations International Organization, regarding Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“I express my utmost gratitude to Indonesia for its principled and consistent support in protecting Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as evidenced by the support provided in the International Organization,” Vucic added.
